Home Depot Backyard Makeover Contest

Anuncio Estrella Damm 2010 rodado en Menorca

As every year, displayed plenty of ads with catchy songs, this being a way of advertising that takes advantage after word of mouth, like, " if ad music such a car "or " as the song cool announcement such company, and of course ... all day humming the song ... Fuckups , P

Well, this entry is dedicated to the new announcement of Estrella Damm beer , which this year been run on our beloved island of Menorca (Google Earth pa ...'s Desperation;) ). The song used (with a very catchy chorus) is called "Applejack " The Triangles Group . This band, formed by five young men came from Melbourne (Australia) and the chosen song is part of his album released in 2005 called "Magic Johnson" ( you can find it on Amazon.com ... and its Nearest p2p ...), More info on www.topmusicablog.com

have no official website (or at least I have not found ...), but what if I have found is your space on Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/trianglesband where you can find some of their songs and photos of the group (indeed, some think it is taken in Menorca during your stay for the shoot!).

The ad opens on May 31, but in the youtube channel Estrella Damm can already see the long-version , q lasts longer than 3 minutes. According to the media, this version can only be seen on television a couple of times (given at Tele 5 and TV3). Then be issued several times in courts of just over a minute (... to see how it looks).

Nothing, curl me, here is the video clip. To sing! PARAAARAAA PAPA PA PA! ;)

And for anyone to perish, here the transcript of the song, performed by Joan Gomez and published in the tumblr of Antoni Febrer (a # greeting twitter!;):

- Applejack (Magic Johnson - 2005) - The Triangles

Raise your hands and sing it with me Sometimes
the strongest and most wonderful things are those we cannot see

Sing a song, sing a song

About how things seem more important at night

So sing apples, sing drumkits
Sing moonlight, sing lungfish

And sing a song mitochondria

whoa whoa whoa whoa

Raise your hands and sing it with me

Sometimes the strongest and most wonderful things are those we cannot see
Sing apples, sing drumkits

Sing moonlight, sing lungfish

Ale, que aproveche la cervecita!!! ;)

PD: Remember the Estrella Damm 2009 shot in Formentera with the theme "Summercat" Billie the vision and the dancers (tonight, tonight!)

How To I Make A Tractor Cake

Acuario Malawi (Mayo 2010) : Catx 1 - Algas 0 ;)

bueeeno. It's been a weekend l argo ... "fighting a horrible plague of unicellular algae in my tank [DRAMA ...], but with patience everything is solved, and I can say that for now the battle won (fingers crossed !!!).

several weeks (a couple of months) I noticed a considerable increase of algae in my tank. Malawians in the "normal" to have some algae because there is not any plant that absorbs nutrients along the color spectrum of the fluorescent lights are usually installed, causes algae to grow more easily. But this time something was wrong ... until suddenly all the water became cloudy and greenish. After

lay hands on Mr. Google I know he was being "victim" of a plague of green algae, specifically unicellular microalgae ( info. Types of algae from Aquanovel )

Well, being unicellular organisms, There are lamps on the market called "sterilizing UV lamp" which neutralize any microorganism that passes in front. On the other hand ... also kill the beneficial bacteria to the aquarium. So you have to be careful not to abuse ... but hey, this time requiring their use.

But not enough to pass the water through the UV lamp. You have to know the reason for the proliferation of algae such as failure in a short period of time re-emerge.

In my case, I conclude that the reasons were:

- Excess supply: recently fed them only once a day and pretty much, which caused the excess is broken down into the water.

- infrequent water changes: The time between the last partial water changes has been longer than normal (not recommended to wait over a month) ... so that the excess supply together with the few changes of water, has made the Nitrates increase significantly (the main food source of algae)

- Period light: On top of that, along with ease with which the growth of algae in these tanks, if you also give them more daylight hours than normal ... algae become a problem, both for the lives of fish to the aesthetics of the aquarium.

Solution: Well first is to remove the algae. What I did was connect the output of the filter, a UV lamp that has given me @ goosemenorca (thank you! ;) And I left running 50 hours. Also, I made two partial water changes of about 40% each three days apart. To avoid shocks have added bacteria (commercial packaging liquids) so that no sudden drops in their neighborhood and break the cycle of nitrogen.

Well ... here a picture from Friday before doing anything:

And this is the aspect of today, after all the cleaning process:

I used to make small changes in the placement of rocks, filling over the bottom (creating more cache) and leaving more room to swim in front.

Nothing more, now just need to correct the failures that have led to such proliferation and in theory should not have problems again.

Greetings y. .. with algae darling!

Rabbit Houses Out Of Cardboard At Home

Cielo nocturno de Mayo : ¿QuĂ© observar?

Like the previous month, with the excuse of a possible departure next Friday astronomical 14 with the association Astromenorca , write this post where I'll try to collect the " Cuatr or" things most interesting in a way we could observe with our telescopes for the month of May, and planned and mine;)

probably leave me many things the ink ... I do not intend to create the perfect guide or anything, but if anything that collects some interesting things for a newbie like me have no where to start and get lost in the vastness of the universe to look up.

good thing in the first weeks of May is that the moon will not be present during the early hours of the night, allowing us to enjoy deep sky. If we focus on the Friday 14, the moon is hidden by the horizon while the Sun, so NO PROBLEM ( other thing is you want to watch the moon, then it will take from 17 or 18 early hours of the night, they hide in the west ).

In global, we served with the same neighbors in recent months. Venus is very bright in the west after the sun and get overnight, Mars and Saturn will stroll over our heads going "unnoticed" among the stars. This will be his position for the day 14.

And what deep sky concerns, like the month of April, the first hours of the night we are looking at the outside of the Via Way, giving us the opportunity to observe many galaxies. We use the post mentioned in April (see post here ). With this we have " work" for a good time ... :) Here is a summary of the comments ( reduced copy + paste ... ):

- Bode's Galaxy (M81) and Cigar Galaxy (M82) : are a group of galaxies located in Ursa Major, being highly recommended for its great luminosity.

- spiral galaxy M94, located in the constellation

Hounds - Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) : Actually there are two galaxies the M51 and NGC 5195. It is one of the brightest galaxies in the Northern Hemisphere. We can find between the Hounds and the Big Dipper.

- Black Eye Galaxy (M64) : Located in the constellation of Berenice.

- Sombrero Galaxy (M104) : Near the constellation Virgo, to Cuervo.

- Virgo Cluster: A large cluster of galaxies located in the constellation Virgo. We can find the giant M87, M49 , M86 and M84 , among others.

A part of galaxies, we can also see other objects: open clusters and globular clusters. Among them the following:

- M67: Open Cluster in Cancer located, with plenty of stars of different magnitudes.

- M44: Open Cluster located in Cancer, also known as "The Manger."

- M3: Globular cluster to the right of "The Herdsman." It is one of the brightest.

- M13: Globular Cluster in Hercules located. Known as "The Great Hercules Cluster."

- M5: Globular cluster located in Serpens.

- M4 : globular cluster located in Scorpio. We will have to wait past midnight for it to rise a little above the horizon. But it is worth seeing.

There are others but I think these have enough ... do not you think? ;) The night is young ... but we must not abuse ........ , P

From the 01:00 h on the South-East will begin to poke the Milky Way, giving us the opportunity to see another category of objects: nebulae. Here some " pa start."

- M57: Planetary nebula known as the Ring Nebula. " Can be found in Lyra.

- M16 : Located between the "Snake" and "Shield" is an open star cluster associated with an emission nebula. Also known as "The Eagle Nebula." It will not be visible until after 2:00 h am. that is when the horizon starts to rise.

- M27: Planetary Nebula in the constellation of Vulpecula (...). Also known as the Dumbbell Nebula.

And finally, here is a sky chart with all the items mentioned in this post, both galaxies, clusters and nebulae. Your situation is not accurate, it is just to have an orientation.

Nothing else, just wait to arrive on Friday and if it is made out ... ENJOY! ;) See y. .. Clear skies to all!
