Application Form For Probate

El cielo de Abril 2010 : Qué podemos observar?

There are many websites where you can find recommendations and letters celestial objects can be observed during each season. And this week is the turn of the month of April. Furthermore, building is Easter, we have a few days (nights) in which to make the night owl looking at the stars.

After reviewing several sites , here I summarize the most interesting things (from my point of view) not to be missed this month:

- Luna:

is not an excellent occasion for observing mole that the first days of April will not appear until after 00:00 or 1 am, stretching his appearance at 3 or 4 the following week. From the day 19 or 20 again have in our sky at times more "decent":)

Today, day March 31 I write this post is full moon, so the moon will be waning as the days pass until day 14, which will be in the New Moon. Will be back on full moon day April 28. Here is the lunar calendar this month:

The fact that the moon is not visible to the first night will facilitate the deep sky observing the reflected light does not interfere in it.

- Planets:

In this section I want to make special mention of a curious situation is not very common. For about the first two weeks of April (from today!), We see the planets Mercury and Venus in conjunction for several hours. You only have to look toward the western horizon at dusk, just after the setting sun appear as two stars, a very bright and a much more tenuous.

A curious part of this event during the month of April and like last month, the planets Mars join us (in the constellation of Cancer ) and Saturn (at one end of the constellation Virgo ) overnight.

even Saturn's rings are quite perpendicular to the Earth so just watch a fine line through this giant planet. Not until 2012 when it started to appreciate the album.

(via post in www.astronomo.org )

But this does not mean that observing Saturn, with its main satellites, is always a moment of satisfaction.

- Deep sky:

With the change of season (just entered in the Spring) we realize that the sky begins to change. This is because we are looking at the outside of our galaxy, which is why our sky will be "minus" filled with stars and nebulae, but in return ... We have lots of galaxies to discover with our telescope .

For this reason, I have focused on galaxies shining bright and the sky this month, in addition to the more distant horizon. Almost all can be found by looking south.

Here my recommendations after consulting various websites. I probably let a lot but this is just an orientation.

- Bode's Galaxy (M81) and Cigar Galaxy (M82) : are a group of galaxies located in Ursa Major, being highly recommended for its great luminosity.

- Spiral Galaxy M94 : located in the constellation

Hounds - Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) : Actually there are two galaxies, M51 and NGC 5195. It is one of the brightest galaxies in the Northern Hemisphere. We can find between the Hounds and the Big Dipper.

- Black Eye Galaxy (M64) : Located in the constellation of Berenice.

- Sombrero Galaxy (M104) : I have this will win:) It is near the constellation Virgo, to Cuervo. It is a galaxy that we see on Earth "singing" what hat gives the appearance ...

- Virgo Cluster: A large cluster of galaxies located in the constellation Virgo. A good part of the universe to observe many objects, like giant M87, M49 , M86 and M84 , among others. The fact that so many things "together" makes it very difficult to identify. So it's best to locate the area and get lost in it;)

- sky map: Here I

leave a slide show that I performed with the objects mentioned in this post and its approximate position. As you can see, basically all the objects are facing South.

To make this post, apart from sites referenced in the images, I have helped sites like www.elcielodelmes . com and www.circuloastronomico.cl , and of course ..., the great program Stellarium ;)

Nothing else, I hope this post will be useful during this month, or at least I have entered the itch to look through a telescope and discover that we have over our heads when everyone is asleep;)

Can You Wash A Duffel Bag

Android, Nexus One, apps, links y otras cosas "verdes"

Greetings to all (take a paracetamol today I have wanted to talk ...;).

posts Today I bring a little green ... I am not referring to things guarillas ( is that more than one not mind;), but the colors that we can include the following terms: Android, Nexus One, applications and Market Android community.

Green is the color that Google's operating system, called Android . An OS that just over a year has been "eaten" a large market share, appearing large number of devices with the OS installed (mobile phones and portable) and on the heels of the Big Apple with its iPhone OS (not to mention of Symbian or Windows Mobile).

I will not explain how this system works because there are plenty of websites and blogs specializing in the Android world where you can find lots of information (see below list ). But what if I say that has surprised me is his great ability to customize at will, changing their appearance, adding widgets, installing applications in a flash (below talk about it), etc ... And do not tell you if we enter the world of " kitchenettes, where big" chef "( nonprofit developers ) are changing the ROMs for improving their performance and look even more (look for example," cyanogen "or" bgAndroid "one of the most extended ROMs).

Another thing that has attracted much attention is his possibility of "multi-tasking" can have several applications open at once (and if the mobile hardware allows it) to work with them fluently, sailing and Twitter while listening to music and sending an email, etc ...). Now ... it's multitasking is against it. When we are using an application on Android ... NO BUTTON "Exit" or the typical small cross that we find in Windows ... When we press the button to go to "Home" or the beginning of our phone, the application is still running ..... I do not understand and do not give the possibility to leave the enclosed application ... not ... This is the point not just convinced me. But luckily, through the "Settings" application can access the "open" and be closed. If not, there are apps to close, called "killer-apps" ... Fortunately, the terminals that come out now, having more RAM, can have more applications open, so we do not notice a significant slow-down (to some extent ....).

What I see a little hassle is that Google, as the OS evolves, it will Sancan new versions (if 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.1 ...), and as you take more powerful terminals, will most likely including to exploit this hardware (obviously). But this implies that there is some slippage, so release version ... In a year, went to the top terminals are beginning to become outdated with new applications being developed. Google is slowly pulling back from lending support to earlier versions, making that soon, the Android handset from being "obsolete" for new apps. No ... On one side is good because it is constantly evolving, but for which or left behind can only be satisfied with what they have (not recently), or going to spend the new terminal bitches ... (The society of consumerism

....) And finally, another thing I really liked this OS is its ability to "copy / paste between different applications. Copy a URL from an email and paste it into an SMS, or do you send a tweet, you copy and paste it into a text file, etc ... Also, I liked the ease with which you can share information from one service to another, simply access the application menu and select "sharing" (emails, twitter, facebook, etc ...). Great.

This mobile operating system has endless possibilities and the fact that Google may provide for independent developers (or ourselves ...) the creation and programming of new applications to download, make our terminals become our gadget "for all" (or nearly ...; )

Following this "little ..." Android introductory scene, I'll talk a little about one of the terminals has brought more hype in recent months: the Nexus On e (or Google phone as some call it).

ends is a HTC manufactured in conjunction with Google, who is in charge of directing the "manufacture" to integrate the best possible operating system Android.

Before it, other terminals accounted for (and hoard) the market share Android: are you and the Magic HTC Dream. Terminals that have been squeezed by new applications and ROMs, achieving great results to its users. But the Nexus One belongs to a higher league (along with other future Motorola handsets as the Milestone or Sony Xperia X10). More hardware, larger screen, more processor ... In short, older siblings Android.

Obviously, the speed that technology evolves, we will not account in one year, these "big brothers" will become small house, with the emergence of other terminals unthinkable now feature ...

talk a little about the Nexus One and that is what I have today. I will focus on describing the main pros and cons that I found after a month of use. It will be a personal opinion as little more I can add to the thousands and thousands of lines have been written about this "monster", so weeks before his presentation and after that the big G opened the doors to marketing.

- Features: for what all "android-lover" knows
-------------------------------

----------------------------- - Processor 1 GHz Qualcomm
QSD 8250 - Touch screen 3.7- inch AMOLED WVGA resolution 800x480 pixels
- 1400 mAH Battery
- 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 2X digital zoom, LED flash, geolocation, and video recording at 720 x 480 pixels at 20 fps.
- Android OS 2.1 (also called Eclair)
- 512MB Flash and 512MB RAM
- includes a 4GB microSD card expandable up to 32 GB
- Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
GPS - Digital Compass and Accelerometer
- etc ... etc ... etc ... (All specifications on the official Google web here )

Honestly, I come from normal terminals, devices that served to call, send messages and if you dared to the bill, internet browsing (if you could call it that). Nor have I tried an iPhone, so I can not compare, but after this time tinkering and using it every day ... I can say I "love" and not whether it would be able to return to a mobile "normal" after spending the smartphones. Call me exaggerated ... but if you like tinkering and fiddling, be conecatado 24 hours and stay up to date in this world ... I recommend it fully. According compare in various blogs, the change is quite noticeable example of a Magic for a Nexus. Although the base is the same (Android), the performance is clearly increased (or so they say;).

As you may know, if you live in Spain, now you can not buy the phone directly to Google. By accessing your web http://www.google.com/phone a little message appears saying " Sorry, the Nexus One Phone is not available in your coutry or region " so that ... or we hope to put it on sale in Spain (apparently Vodafone expects Google to include it in their catalog so they in turn start selling free) or we have to pull "SPECIAL OFFER" we can find on the net ... reaching almost double the price for which Google sells it off.

Now, if you can not wait for Vodafone him out for sale ... (God knows under what conditions of stay astronomical monthly minimum payments, etc ...), here the Go Back link to the forum where they explain a way to buy pay only what you really ask Google (plus postage, of course ...) -> How to buy Google Nexus ONE USA free and not die trying:) "by Driskol" . If you can not wait, it's worth doing the whole "shebang " because we can save a few euros, plus be eligible for the data rate that most suits us, not that we require the operators. And surely, when Vodafone launched with all its conditions, thus eventually also be the cheapest.

Although this system has risks ... If you leeis reference post will see what we can "stop" customs and having to pay the excise duty (I q between 16 and 20% of the cost of purchase). And another important thing ... These days it has been published in various blogs that Google Spain will not take over the security of the terminals that are purchased as is NOT for sale in our country. Hopefully once can buy it from here, we no longer make such restrictions ..... (Glup. ..)

all know the wonders of this terminal, the "Peas" screen, the flow when running applications, to transition between desktops, etc ... plus all the benefits that Android 2.1 offers.

But here I will list the main weak points that, from my point of view, make this terminal a few tenths of a point lost for not having a TEN ... ;)

What many people ask is what about the battery life . In my case, junk "at half speed" up to my last one and a half without problems. Taking care to turn off the wifi when I leave home, start closing apps residents who do not use, do not usually listen to much music, but if I use several applications a day, leaving several always enabled. I know people that noon is the polished and others that lasts two whole days ... (So \u200b\u200bthat Google has released for sale spare batteries). Coming from a humble terminal could be almost a week without charging ... this to be every day with the charger makes me stranger. And I'll get used. I have understood that both the iPhone, Blackberry's, as well as other Android same thing happens: " loading is the day our daily bread ." For this type of terminals (smartphones) you can spend all day spent optimizing it for less battery, but ... comes a time when you become obsessed and you become their "slave" ... Another

"skinny" is the sound. The terminal, as discussed in various forums, not noted for its powerful sound. Under normal conditions, hear well, but with the volume cap, if you in a place with burullo not you hear when they call you unless you take it vibrating and the pocket (next to the package ... ). Some people it does is edit the audio file and tone that we amplify it ... but if not you adjust pretty much lost quality becomes distorted, and not worse ...

When you buy the handset, Google us "gift" with a fabulous cover (looks almost like neoprene), with the Android logo peeking around a corner. But when you take a few days removing and inserting the end of the casing, you see that it is not practical. To transport it, but when they call you or you take it out quickly ... not help much. I'm willing to buy any type silicone or leather case with swing open front or like these (from octilus) . It will come ...

Other "against" you have is a problem that they have discovered these days by using multi-touch screen. As you may know, not come as standard, so that a few weeks after putting it on sale, Google released an update via OTA that added this possibility to the terminal. The problem is that when crossing the axes of the two pressure points, they are exchanged, can cause problems in future applications using this technology. In principle to zoom internet, maps or images is not more important ... but .... no, no. Hopefully Google to fix in future firmware updates ... (More info here from androidsis ).

Another drawback I see him, but for your operating system, is that when you access the main menu with all installed applications, they are arranged in alphabetical order, not being able to order them at will or create folders to organize ... On the desktop if we can create folders, but ... his is release it and leave only the pricipalmente. There is an application (appsorganizer) that allows you to tag each of the applications and shows you the groups, this being a solution to the "disorder."

And finally, being another limitation of the Android operating system, as I said above, the fact that the operating system does not allow apps to close when you leave ... I leave a bad taste in my mouth every time I have to worry about running a killer ... Another thing I do not understand, but ... I will live with it;)

Well ... I think nothing more to object (...). Even with these little "stick" (if they can be "hit"), think it's a GREAT TERMINAL and will give us much joy to all holders ( and hope it lasts for years, because if no, my wife cuts my "android" ;)

To end this "small post ", I propose a list of the main applications I have installed on my terminal, hoping to help new users and other posts helped me to get involved when the huge head in Android Market ... If there is no in the Android Market, the can find in other Markets parallel (see here)
