Old Women Wearing Nylon

Carta de un hijo a TODOS los padres del mundo

My wife is attending a conference of parents in the care of our son. Among the documents you provided, I found this gem that all parents would always keep in mind that, especially in times when the nerves or stress can make us act inappropriately ... JUST GREAT. Dedicated to all those parents who want to provide the best for their children:

"LETTER FROM A CHILD TO ALL PARENTS OF THE WORLD":

- Do not give me everything I ask. Sometimes, just ask to see how far I can go.

- Do not yell at me. I respect you less when you do, and teach me was yelling at me too, and I do not want to.

- not always give me orders. If instead of orders, sometimes ask me things, make faster and taste.

- Meet the promises, good or bad. If you promise a prize, give it, but if it is a punishment.

- Do not compare me with anyone, especially my brothers and sisters. If you make me feel better than others, someone will, and if you make me feel worse than the others, I who will suffer.

- Do not change your mind so quickly about what I do. Decide and keep that decision.

- Let me assert myself. If you do it all for me, I can never learn.

- Do not tell lies before me. Or ask me I tell lies about you. You make me feel bad and lose faith in what you say.

- When you do something bad, do not ask me I've done it. Sometimes ... even I know.

- When you're wrong on something, accept it. So grow my opinion I have about you, and teach me to admit my mistakes too.

- Treat me the same kindness and warmth that you treat your friends. That does not mean we are family that we can be friends too.

- Do not tell me to do things if you do not. I always learn what you do, though you do not tell me or teach directly, but will never do what I say and you do not do it.

- When I explain my problem, do not say "I have no time for nonsense" or "it does not matter." Try to understand and help.

- And above all, love me. Tell me. I like to hear you say, even that you do not think I needed to say.

Greetings!
